When I started working with the band in 1982, Doc gave me a list of all the pieces of the Bad Brains recording history and where they could be found. Jerry Williams at 171 Avenue A had the recordings of the band which were out on R.O.I.R. Ric Ocasek's invitation to record at his Boston studio was on the table and eventually brought forth Rock For Light.
